dont know why they went with 2xMSAA. SMAA is better and 10 times cheaper.

Not sure, maybe because 2 x MSAA is what 360 used in many cases...and likely Forza 5 started life on 360? Just my guess. I hope FH2 looks better, actually in light of recent info, am pretty sure it will.

IGN's day 2 article is incredibly informative. Seems like its being built for XB1 and the 360 will be a stripped down port, which is certainly fine with me, getting to enjoy it XB1.

Same set-up as Titanfall for the 360 port. Same game, ported by a different developer.

Game looks absolutely stunning. I missed out on FH1 due to going through a phase of not gaming that much and I never picked it up, just became a CoD bro. Can't wait to pick this game up and sink some serious hours into it.

Same here, especially with 3x more drivable space than FH1, 700+ activities (cant exactly remember how it was worded on IGN) but the studio rep stated a rough estimate on about 100 hours to 100% the games content. I am thrilled.

With all this stuff before E3 what kind of goodies are they saving for E3, one could almost start believing the wet dream E3 list is true...

Hopefully just more unannounced games in the pipeline and to be released soon-ish.

I really hope they have something left for E3 at this rate and it won't be a washout because we've had all the good stuff

Not as big a fan of Horizon as some are. I don't agree with the PGR similarities. It's decent on it's own right but not a patch on the former. Just hope the scenary and car selection are improved. Both weren't varied enough for me in the first.

How are you not agree with the PGR similarities? I demand satisfaction! :D

Likewise! Although I found out recently that Playground games are a UK company whom got a load of the staff from Bizarre when they closed, lead designer etc. Makes me feel better about it and the series moreso a progression of the PGR franchise.

Driveclub devs have mentioned PGR as inspiration multiple times, but with everything that's gone on with that game I'm approaching it with low expectations. Wouldn't be surprised if FH2 ends up the better game.

I'm a bit gutted that it's not open-world like Horizon but I can't imagine it being a bad game. Need it to get good reviews to sway me into getting the PS4.

With it not being open world, that's pretty much the one big complaint Andrew had about FH not being a true sequel to PGR gone :)

Me neither, but Motorstorm really is their bread and butter, with the troubled Driveclub development I'm not really sure I buy this being their "real vision" of the game they wanted to create. Expectations are just lowered, hope I'm proven wrong. The dev cycles for Sony racers are just crazy compared to Forza titles, I fully expected GT6 HD to be at E3, not GT7....

Anyway, we don't get many driving games of quality, we should just be happy for what we get :p FH2 looks to be another solid entry, as much as the Forza/GT fans bicker between themselves, neither can really walk away saying there isn't quality in each title. Keeping my eye on this one at E3.

No GT at all at E3 (confirmed by the Admin at GTPlanet), #DRIVECLUB is getting all the love instead (not a bad thing but still) :(

GT are good games, but I personally don't think they compare directly for Forza. GT is slightly more mainstream while Forza is a bit more niche for the track day and wannabe racers. I'd say GT is more like FH with tracks.

but they're all all around great racing and car games.

Must say though, when the XO launches in the last european countries come fall. it'll have a solid lineup and if I don't import one this summer(still a bit iffy on this and how it affects me when it launches here...) I'll defintiely have to get one at launch, even if just to race FH on my projector, without big pixels :)

Totally understand that, I suppose you could argue that the delay they had was to make it align with more of their vision for it but lowering expectations isn't a bad mentality to have. I did the same for Watch Dogs and it's been one of my favourite games so far.

Meh, I don't get why people who play racing games bicker. I grew up playing the GT games and still love them along with the Forza franchises (sank 200+ hours into FM5). With the work what they've done with weather and day/night cycles in GT6, I can imagine whatever they do for the PS4 will be amazing. I will be day one. Can't wait to see the same for FM as well, comparing FM2 to 3 on the 360 was night in day in terms of physics and graphics. I can imagine the same occurrence for 6.

I'd love for them to announce a GT6 HD at E3 because I'd probably pick up a PS4 in July along with the TLoU re-master.

Am sure both will be equally excellent, in fact they may force a sadistic choice as funds are not exactly limitless. Then again who am I kidding? Bring them on! No more delays!

Oh I want to see game play and have so many more details, I don't often pay full price these days, but this (& Witcher 3, 2015) will be day 1 purchases.
