It's Live!

You need an iOS, OSX or Apple TV Device

Yay. Flat icons. Prepare for ugly mix of old and new dock icons in the screenshot threads.

Ooh, dark mode. This could be cool.

Dropping the sidebar was a huge mistake on MS's part (IMO)

I like them. I was a bit scared they were going to go too similar to iOS

They basically took the concept of the failed Longhorn sidebar, and integrated it soo much better. Your right though, MS shouldn't have dropped it

Microsoft should update the desktop UI and iciuns to compete with apple.

Longhorn's sidebar didn't fail, Microsoft killed it before it came to market because it was too ambitious.

At the time I thought it was a no brainer to have the sidebar (widescreens were starting to be popular), then they dropped it, i was shocked

It feels like they've changed them just for the sake of it because iOS had a facelift.

Also, RIP Dashboard :(

iCloud Drive has been a long time coming. Finally!

My wife loves Dashboard and I can't stand it. Maybe the calculator in the notification center might help her adjust lol
