World cup - Is it true that FIFA is blocking access to people with some tablets and phones?

Recommended Posts

Hello friends,

I have ready the tickets to fly to Brazil and a friend told me that he heard somewhere that FIFA will not be allowing people to enter the stadiums with tablets or phones from any different brand, but samsung only.

Is that true?

Just wondering, because Samsung is sponsoring something... ?

Obviously complete nonsense. Do you really need asking?

At the very worst it'll be like the Olympics, where inside a certain radius they didn't allow businesses that weren't on the list to operate (even going as far as "disabling" bank machines that weren't managed by companies on the approved list).

This is a stupid list, and one of the reasons i hate certain events, why is it considered dangerous to take my own drinks into the stadium? Why can't I record video?
