For those who feel creative, we also have a fully-featured course editor that allows you to customize, tweak, sculpt and craft any course you can imagine. All of these courses can be shared with your friends where you can rate them and favourite the ones you love.

Sweet!!! I've been looking for a true golf game not made by EA for quite some time now. The last great golf game I was into was Links 2004 back on the first Xbox. Ah those were the days!

I was browsing around the website earlier and the graphics look pretty damn awesome.  I'm potentially interested in the PC version of it.

I just wish they had a "Golden Tee" controller for it, which would be amazing!

So far the initial user reviews are promising.  Apparently the gameplay is great, but the graphics on the X1 are downplayed compared to what is on the PC.

(This is available on Steam, btw, for the PC)

Why is the Steam version so much more....wait why is the PS....wait why is the Xbox O....nevermind

I haven't played golfing games since the PS2 days, how have things changed overall in the golfing genre of video games?

This should probably be in the Gamers Hangout since it is a multi-platform title.

I was curious to see if there was a technical difference between the different console versions, and since there is, I will hold off for the PS4 version myself. Since Golf is just a relaxing game, would rather have the nicer eye candy, especially since the control input stay at 60 FPS despite the visual framerate being lower. More info here.

The PS4 version will run at 1080p @ 30-40 fps
The XB1 version will run at 720p @ 30-45 fps

Do not get bogged down in this number. These framerates run very smoothly on the consoles. Unlike many games, we have separate threads for the input and the graphics rendering on the consoles. So while the graphics threads render at the above numbers, the input thread runs at 60 frames per second on both consoles. So overall performance feels higher than what you may be imaging the number 30-40 fps represents. Framerates on the PC are not on separate threads, but they are also not capped.

Yes, but the multiplayer first person shooter golf maps run at 1080i on the PS4. /sarcasm.

With no other golf games coming out 'till next year's EA entry, this releases today.

Looks promising!

Ironically The Golf Club was supposed to be published by EA until they parted ways.

As DL says it is multi-platform, and we have another topic so...
