No, the mounting positions for the 5s are different, for starters.

But that won't stop it from working with different logic board and it also need 5s battery in order to work due to different voltage.

Your ribbon connections won't match up as well, it's just not a good idea.

The thing is, iPhone 5 case simply wouldn't be able to mount the board inside which would make it unable to support it. The only option would be to by the replacements for the 5s case which with buying the logic board for the 5s, you've essentially just bought the 5s and then put it together yourself.

I already have the iPhone component with all the case,LCD display,speaker and battery. The only piece that need upgrade is logic board and it will save the environment by avoid changing phone every 2 years and at the same time supercharge the phone life cycle in future.

I was able to find a good deal with third party offering logic board at a very compelling price. In fact, i exhaustively search from 4th generation to 7th and found out that all 4 and 4s connector is the same and just shifted different location which isn't drastic at all. There's a good chance it will work and a google search won't give you accurate answer whether or not anyone have attempted because so far no one try it and report back the result.

Well if you've got a good deal go for it and let us know. If not, you could always just buy the replacement case and have a cheaper 5s.

However, as far as your current build goes..

 

My suggestion would be to simply try and see what happens. If it fails then you can just buy a new chassis and be on your way with your new personal build iPhone 5s.
