Why buy Madden 15 when 25 is already out?

In early 2013, EA Sports announced that the next installment of the Madden series will be released on August 27, 2013. As this installment is the 25th anniversary of the series,[37] the game will be called Madden NFL 25, instead of numbering it Madden NFL 14 with the year like the previous versions.

Personally I don't understand why anyone would buy any sports game every year. Wow, the players have new statistics...I can't tell the difference between them.

But yeah, unrealistic pointed out the difference. Just because 25 is a larger number than 15 doesn't mean that it's the latest game.

Indeed. I remember when the first one came out. I thought "Who the hell is this Madden fellow?".

John madden is a former nfl coach turn overly elaborate announcer for the NFL, back in 92 he made a deal with electronic arts to use his name and his picks for the so called best if the nfl for a game, one of the first to include real players and their average stats for that particular season, and from there John Madden Football was born, with player and star changes every year, trying to make the most realistic football game out there, however now they are the only licensed NFL game out there, and that's what we are stuck with, I haven't played a football game since mutant league for the genesis, and though there are a few tweaks and a couple new features every year, think of madden as the modern warfare if football games.

Madden XX25?? Maybe we will be lucky and the franchise won't last that long... Have you ever heard that man drone on about one single play of football? He can make one play last the while quarter if he wanted to, thankfully he has pat someral to shut him up

I think it's more along the lines of any EA Sports game...

Madden is like the Call Of Duty but in sports. Every year a new game but the same crap. You just got bored of seen the same thing.
