I have an unlocked AT&T iPhone 5 that I would love to use with an unlimited data package. Last time I went to France I got the Orange sim card. However, this time we are traveling more. 14 days in Italy 4 days in Paris 4 days in London 4 days in Dublin Do you guys think the best thing is to get a sim card in each country? I saw Three has a deal with more than one country, but not sure i qualify. I'd love a sim card for all of Europe. I don't need text or voice, just data. Any ideas? I would like to have the sim card sent to me soon so that I could have it when i touch down in Milan. PS. the dates don't add up because there is some overlap of countries. I can order that SIM card, have it sent to me in the US, activate it, and then use it when I land in Milan? If you read the details on the site that Nashy linked to it says that you have to activate the SIM in the UK. How it Works1. Order Sim and advise us your arrival date UK.2. We will activate the line just before your arrival and advise your mobile number. 3. Arrive the UK. Insert the sim. Power cycle the the phone. 4. Set the APN per the enclosed instructions. That makes sense as the sim isn't really designed to provide cheap data\calls to people on holiday in Europe. To be honest, roaming rates in Europe are fairly cheap and are set to get cheaper next month. If the Three sim doesn't work for you I would just buy a sim from someone like TIM when you land in Italy, make sure it allows roaming and then add credit to it.
