AT&T has admitted in Filings with the State of California that an employee accessed social security number and other information to unlock smartphones for other individuals....

This is sickening to me because I was one of the individuals breached, even though I haven't been notified yet. I had to change my bank accounts, passwords, etc. I had to put a fraud alert out because my full social was used. All because someone wanted to make money on the side...

Unfortunately, employees are always going to be that one chink in the armour that you can't do anything about.  At some point, someone has to have access to that data, so there has to be a level of trust there.

Nothing is ever 100% secure.
