Day One Edition baby, still mixed about whether I should have waiting or not. Sometimes I love the Kinect, sometimes I wish I could have saved the money.

DaY One Edition. Glad I got Kinect, I will be excited when the gestures processing gets freed up in games, I don't use them but navigating, recording, mic-less talking, and soon take screenshots via Kinect is great.

Day One Edition.  Then again, I accidentally got 2 plus a PS4, which I sold.  I made enough money on the extra XB1 and PS4 to have only paid $50 for it.

I ended up putting an xbox one on lay-away last night.  It was with the kinect model.   After I left I figured out they range up the kinectless model.

Talked to the manager, too late to change it without loosing $30.   SO I can just pay it off and then return it instantly and get the kinect model.   Ooooor if I feel I don't need it right away, I can ask the wife for it for christmas.

Xbox One with Kinect - basically had no choice as i got the console on launch day.

Given the choice at the time i would have got one without the Kinect.

With Kinect from launch period. Would have gone Kinect-less were it a choice back then, but I don't mind it and love my X1.

Day one edition so obvoiusly with Kinect. Given the choice now it would be tough to choose. The reason it would be tough to choose is because the Kinect version is constantly on sale while the kinect-less version is always at the MSRP. $440 gets you Kinect + Forza whereas $400 gets you just the box. So I'd choose the Kinect bundle only because it's such a marginal cost difference.

If the choice was $400 for standalone and $500 with Kinect and nothing else I'd go with the standalone model. I only value Kinect at around $50. The kinect-less SKU realistically should've been $350 and available at launch. That would make it a no-brainer.

Just waiting for a decent deal to come up without Kinect, then I'll bite.

Seriously, Kinectless SKU is never on sale.

snip

Halo collection would be enough for me to buy one if I hadn't gotten one at launch (pre-ordered extra PS4 and XB1 to flip and subsidize the ones I kept)

Kinect version, bought day one. I bought one for my dad on the same day & neither of us would ever have it without Kinect. Gonna grab another one for my kids, and i'll get them the kinect model too

I picked up Titanfall bundle, as well as a Forza bundle. If I were to do it all over again I'd probably get the Kinect-less model.

The Kinect really doesn't work well. But the totality of the system for gaming is good.

I have an Xbox One with Kinect, which I absolutely love. I have also ordered the white Xbox One Sunset Overdrive Bundle, scheduled to arrive early November here :)

i bought xbox one without kinect.    played with it for 2 weeks then returned it and got my money back.   there were no games for me to continue playing.

i might buy it again, next year, when more games come out for it.
