Ninja Sex Party / Starbomb

Recommended Posts

Starbomb is a collaboration between Ninja Sex Party (Leigh Daniel Avidan, aka Danny Sexbang, and Brian Wecht, aka Ninja Brian) and Egoraptor (Arin Hanson).  If you like funny music, everything by Ninja Sex Party is worth listening to.  But if you also like games, well, Starbomb Ex Plus Alpha (Amazon/iTunes) is probably the best game parody album that exists.

Since I don't see any sign of anyone linking them on Neowin before, figured I'd do so, because they are awesome.

Starbomb - It's Dangerous to Go Alone - Official Music Video (Legend of Zelda parody)

Starbomb - Regretroid - Official Music Lyric Video (Metriod parody)

Starbomb - Luigi's Ballad - Official Music Video (Super Mario Brothers parody)

Starbomb - Ruy vs. Ken (Rap Battle) - Official Music Video (Street Fighter parody)

Ninja Sex Party - Greatest Hits Music Videos (Dinosaur Laser Fight, Unicorn Wizard, If We Were Gay, The Decision, Best Friends Forever!)

Also of note if you listen to all their albums, Dragon Slayer is not yet part of one.

Danny and Arin are hilarious as the Game Grumps. They mostly do game grumps vs., I watch them all of the time. Those two together equals the funniest gameplay videos I've ever seen! Definite must watch!

EDIT: Probably NSFW! Watch at your own risk!

Personally I think Starbomb is worth buying, as the four best tracks don't have official music videos yet (Mega Marital Problems, Crasher-Vania, The Simple Plot of Final Fantasy 7, and Kirby's Adventures in Reamland).  The music from Starbomb is also a significant improvement from their first two albums, as I find myself preferring the karaoke versions more than the rap versions.

The other two albums I can see being a lot more hit and miss but I suspect gamer's, especially ones who have played most of the games parodied in Starbomb Ex Alpha Plus, will find that specific album entirely enjoyable.
