IIRC correctly didnt AMD issue a press statement saying their FX lineup for 2014 wasnt going to see anything new?

Sorry, folks, the new and awesome FX is just the old FX-9590 overstock kitted with CM Seidon 120 overstock. For $40 more than TRAY it's a deal.

 

And I missed the MSRP just by a tenner. Alas, the clock will stay the same 4.6->5.0 GHz.

Given that NZXT just announced two new Krakens (vr-zone.com) with Asetek's latest revision, I can probably bet that CM Seidon 120 indeed got such discount bundle because of the looming overstock and Asetek's folks are now jumping from desks and high-fiving each other.

Not that any of this is bad. The amount of hype around the NEW FX OOOOH - now that was just sad.

Yeah read this on KitGuru earlier, dissapointing.

 

AMD needs to bring something new to the table. An FX powered ARM with 12 cores :laugh:
