+John Teacake MVC Posted June 24, 2014 MVC Share Posted June 24, 2014 Say you have been communicating about a job with a third party recruitment agency but then found out who the client was and who the guy interviewing was, Would you prempt the interview and send the person who you would be having the job with a quick email basically introducing yourself saying you are looking forward to meeting them and the team for an interview? what
I wouldn't. Emails are very impersonal so it wouldn't achieve anything other than them asking how you got his contact details. I would play it by the book.
#Michael
Say you have been communicating about a job with a third party recruitment agency but then found out who the client was and who the guy interviewing was, Would you prempt the interview and send the person who you would be having the job with a quick email basically introducing yourself saying you are looking forward to meeting them and the team for an interview? Most recruitment agencies have you sign a document that state that you will only go through them during the interview and hiring process and that you will not attempt to contact the company directly or be represented by another agency. If you contact them yourself and the agency finds out you could be disqualified for the job.
