Looking for a bookmark manager

Question

I use firefox currently and know I could just use bookmarks in there but I don't like the way firefox or any browser does bookmarks.

What are some good bookmark managers ? Free and paid.

I want the best.

Are there specific features that you're looking for? Do you need compatibility with a specific browser (likely Firefox, judging by your post)?

You could use KeePass. It's a great password manager, but you can use it to store all sorts of data.

You can click on the url from within the app, and it will open in your default browser.

You can sync it across machines on your local network and/or with dropbox.

There are versions of it for Windows Phone, iOS and Android, so you are covered on mobile too.

I use Xmarks at the moment, but it's ####ed up far too often for my liking, and hasn't synced for me in ages. Seriously thinking about taking my own advice here.

I wonder if there is a tool for importing Firefox bookmarks to KeePass.

EDIT: Yep, it's easy as pie. Backup (.json) or export (.html) your bookmarks, and then in KeePass: File > Import > Mozilla Bookmarks.json/html
