Not much though ... remember how many kids watch the footie and hold him as a role model.

Shame, I like watching him play.

The biting has to go though...

Anyway, Chiellini doesn't seem to mind the biting too much:

4 month ban might have been okay if this was his first time biting someone, but he's done it three times now. Needs a much much longer ban and some help because he's obviously got issues.

No where near long enough, he should have been given a choice of ban for two years or have his teeth removed :p

Well, Suarez, fangs for the memories and for participating in the World Cup and letting your team down.

agreed... this is just not proper discipline for a player of his "status"...

I think he should get a life time ban but we all know that would never happen.

This does stop Liverpool from selling him though

Apparently 888.com, one of his sponsors, are reconsidering their contract .. so has repercussions throughout .. not just on the field

I personally think they should have gone with the full 2 year ban (I think that was the max) and made an example out of him.

Suarez's grandmother has made a statement claiming FIFA have treated him barbarically, and wanted him out of the World Cup from the start .... something wrong with the whole family??
