Target asks its customers to kindly not shop while armed with guns

I can easily justify carrying a gun under your jacket etc. but this...retarded.

What reason?

Many other countries manage to function without carrying guns around.

You can't say "protection from bears" or whatever because your country should be making reasonable efforts to make it a safe place to live.

The point is to have gun rights given to us by the Constitution.

The right to protect yourself by threatening and (usually) killing another?

Maybe it's time that bit of your "constitution" was changed...  but then owning, using and showing off whose gun is bigger is seen to be normal to you guys right?

First you did not read my other post by relating me to those people. Have a read of the US Constitution and then we'll talk. It's also about protecting oneself from Tyranny as well. The founders damn sure took up arms and killed many or there wouldn't be a USA to begin with. But I do not subscribe to the acts of the people depicted in this post. I think it's stupid to display your weapons in public. Please read all of my post.

Whatever it takes. That's why the call them life or death situations. You may disapprove of the concept, but they exist. Deal with it.

Most people carry concealed so showing whose is bigger is moot there, and it's more a functional thing - small calibers simply will not stop a large attacker immediately absent a lucky shot. Lesson: carry powerful loads, but that doesn't mean a large firearm. My SIG P250 .40 is a subcompact. A woman can carry the Ruger LC9 in a bra holster.

As for the Constitution: that takes the permission of 75% of the states. Good luck as it's only been done 27 times in our history, 10 in one batch (Bill of Rights, including the 2nd Amendment - gun rights). Those 10 are considered untouchable.

Damn good point!  :)

(Disclaimer: I am not in any way talking about throwing over todays Government. Me and my friends are just engaging in friendly conversation about impossible scenarios for a book or movie. Any names, places, or subjects are fictitious.)  :shiftyninja:  :shiftyninja:  :shiftyninja:
