Lamp0
I keep seeing talk about "Lav Filters". I use Potplayer to play pretty much all media, Should I be using these "Lav Filters"? Why are people always raving about them?
0 i_was_here
AFAIK PotPlayer uses its own internal codecs. I don't think the LAV filters would work with it. It is often combined with Media Player Classic - Home Cinema.
0 Thingol
Pot's internal filters are as good as Lav, just use Madvr as video renderer.
0 darth_vader
LAVFilters work with any directshow player that can accept external filters, PotPlayer is one of them, I've used this combo for more than one year and had no problems with it. I do recommend them, now I'm using MPC-HC and LAVFilters are integrated, I also recommend madVR, the BEST, no doubt, video renderer up to date for windows.
