I finally played DLC Quest

So I bought DLC Quest on Steam during the recent sale for $0.98, and I have to say it's the best dollar I have ever spent. I played through both campaigns: "DLC Quest" and "Live Freemium or Die", and it was way more fun that I thought it was going to be.

 

The game is chock-full of videogame memes and references to other games. The sound and graphics are a fantastic throwback to the days of 8 bits. Even the "awardments" were funny and fun to get. I think Going Loud Studios really nailed the satire in this game, and it was an incredibly fun 2 hours of gaming. And to top it off, the ending of Live Freemium or Die was hilarious.

 

I know I am several years late to the party, but man did I enjoy this game. What did everyone else think of it?
