Can't connect to IPB after MySQL upgrade

Hey guys, I was running an update on my server from MySQL 5 to MySQL 5.5. After the upgrade, all my sites works fine, but I cannot connect to my IPB forums. In Firefox, all it says is "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." -- it's not loading at all. Any ideas? Site is here: http://aphnetworks.com/forums/

Can you check the apache logs to see why the connection resets?

Have you checked any of the logs? (MySQL, IPB, Apache)

What PHP version you running? Latest versions of everything?

Probably checking the mysql log would be the best thing to do since you upgraded mysql not ipb :)

 

If you can access the ipb admin panel you could also try optimizing tables again.

 

Also always do backups of everything if you are making this huge changes. As I see you have an review site, even then weekly (if your server can handle it, daily) backups.

Checking into logs now. Can't access anything under the IPB folder which is strange. I can access phpinfo and that's about it.

 

The DB is backed up. Not sure if it makes a difference though, since I'm also running a separate test IPB install, which is also down with the same symptoms.

PHP error logs are probably going to be your best bet, let us know what you find there. Give me a shout in PM if you'd like me to login and take a look

Recompiled PHP and Apache again lol. Looks like it's back. Thanks all! :D
