Yeah, I can buy one that's Unlocked, but I'm not really rich, either. I'd be paying about the same for a new Virgin phone..

I actually don't see much point in upgrading at present in your case; the HTC One V is still a very capable phone by today's standards.

Yeah, but as compared to today's standards, it's a dinosaur. Look how long its been out, and how slow it is compared to newer phones. You have to look from all angles, not just one.

 

1Ghz = 2.8Ghz CPU

512Mb = 2GB RAM

Don't fall for the numbers game. If everything was equal, bigger numbers are better, but are not comparable when comparing WP vs IOS vs Android. If you are comparing your driod to another droid, then its comparable.

What are you smoking? The HTC One V is an Android phone and its specs are crap. The CPU is single-core AFAIK and with only 512MB of memory, Android will be killing tasks very often.
