Problem is it's pretty much a throw away once it gets out of warranty, because you won't be able to find repalacement parts for it anywhere. I would have spent more and gotten an OEM build with a good warranty (Alienware) and then you can always find parts afterwards on Ebay.

I doubt PC Specialist, due to their low prices, are using custom anything. Meaning replacing/upgrading most components shouldn't be too difficult.

I would love a new gaming rig, really started enjoying PC gaming again but I just don't have the money to build anything worth having.

Especially when it becomes outdated so quickly :(

Enjoy the new laptop :)

Looking good if you ask me.

Even custom laptops should be able to get replacement parts as they still use OEM parts. Maybe not the custom part itself like the palmrest or LCD backing as those are usually specially designed for that custom build but beyond that you should be fine.

In any case, enjoy the new system. I'm still loving my Thinkpad T440s after getting it a few months back (just wanting to change the stupid LG LCD - and I love LG products normally! :P).

Ahhh I remember the days when you could buy all the components and custom-build a laptop.  Using an MSI case, and doing it just like we do desktops now....

Actually, I hated that .. it never felt as solid as a quality OEM... I like my ThinkPad better - so forget what I said typed
