Pre-order the Lumia 930 in the UK and receive some free goodies

Recommended Posts

Two popular online UK retailers have announced pricing for the Lumia 930. Clove and Unlocked Mobiles have the new Windows Phone listed for ?435 and ?449.98 respectively. We've looked at major carriers in the UK stocking the device, but not everyone wants to be locked into a 24-month contract. The best part about the listings isn't the attractive price tag for a brand new flagship smartphone, but the bundled goodies early purchasers will receive with their order.

This is more of a reminder article that Nokia (now Microsoft) is looking to push wireless charging as well as Windows Phone line and will be bundling free wireless chargers, speakers and even store vouchers..

Just been in Phones4u and they're going to contact me as soon as I can grab one. Really want the successor to my 920. Never had a phone which has been through so much and survived it.

I'm pretty much committed to getting one now. Bit of a shame that T-Mobile/EE are not offering any free goodies with it :( (that speaker is pants though)

I just started a 12 month contract a few weeks ago (?8.99 per month), so I'm having to restart my contract on a new, higher tariff in order to get the handset for free.

Looking at ?34.99 per month for unlimited calls/texts and 2GB data. I'm on wi-fi most of the time, so that should be enough.

or

?29.99 per month for 1000 minutes, unlimited texts, 1GB

Have to call back on the 14th (they won't let me pre-order before then, even though they have them in stock right now).

Going to see if I can get 500 mins, 500 texts, 3GB for ?29.99 per month or less (you never know when that data cap will creep up and kick you in the nuts)

I heard that the speaker is better than people thought/expected, though I don't have first hand experience with one so I can't say for sure.

I'm only basing that opinion on some ropey youtube videos that I have just been watching. Seems that if you don't have something decent to stick it on, it's really not great and would be useless for the park, which is where I'd personally want to use a portable speaker.

Been looking at the Logitech UE Boom. I think that will better suite my needs, but it does cost a fair bit.
