More-or-less I'm testing the waters.  I subscribed to Office 365 this year, and I want to see if it is worth re-subscribing to next year.  Not that I necessarily need to store some porn on OneDrive (I don't plan on sharing it or anything).  From what I've read, MS have stated that they don't care so long as you are not sharing or using their platform to distribute the content.  We will see if that is true, because their terms flat-out deny you to have any pornographic material.

The issue I'm facing now is kind of funny.  See, the OneDrive web site rotate through the photos or movie thumbnails inside of a folder and doesn't seem to care how deep the folder is.  So for example, I place my porn in the folder "Media\Private\Erotica" and then throw a bunch of Internet Meme pics in the "Media" folder.  When looking at the grid view on the OneDrive website, it will inevitably be showing porn as a thumbnail on top of the "Media" folder at times.  Seems OneDrive likes to rotate through images and doesn't care how deep they are in the hierarchy.

Any ideas how to fix this?  Haha, I'll probably remove the porn because of this reason.  Perhaps MS knew what they were doing...

You can set an image to be the folder image, just go inside the folder and right click the picture you want, Add as Cover. I believe you can add multiple covers if you want it to rotate through a few of your choosing.

You care too much about what MS thinks of a single user's random porn files. Unless someone reports you or you have obvious known names in the files that a bot can pick, the files will stay.

It'll probably stay regardless unless it's child porn.

Quite frankly, with your run-of-the-mill online porn, your biggest issue is copyright infringement.

I do care very much about my privacy. I really don't care about what MS thinks of it, other than if they think poorly of it then I won't waste anymore of my money on them.

Yet you randomly sign-up for a corporate cloud service...

You will need adult cloud hosting service for porn photos/videos.

Not OneDrive...  MS can monitor and suspend the account if the content is found.

I guess I'm more curious about what automated processes they might use to detect it.

I know they have to use something for child porn, right?

1) Why would you put porn on a cloud?
2) Does Microsoft specifically point out that porn is not allowed on their cloud?

It's too confusing a situation for the moment as far as I'm concerned. I can't find any reason for using a cloud for that reason at this time. Let me sleep on it...not literally. :p

Haha, I don't really have a reason to put there either. I'm just poking the bear to see how (if) it responds.

Pretty sure that isn't the case, especially regarding Onedrive for business, because it could be medical data for all they know.  Onedrive (personal) is safe unless you share it, for IP reasons primarily I'd guess.  As long as its your eyes only, you're good as long as it doesn't trip the kiddie porn scanner.  The biggest change is that flagging is now a reviewed process and not an auto-ban.

Sadly, no way to correct the boiling up of pics that I've found.  Talk about your Charlie Harper moments.

Nick, a simple use case is having your phone set to auto-upload the camera roll.

I haven't put anything there I care about yet. It was also done intentionally. How do you come to the conclusion that it occurred at random?

The tone in your first post seems very relaxed and carefree about it all.

The account was suspended because of the nude photos that happened about 2 years ago.
