Curious about Microsoft's //OneWeek? Here's what you should know

Microsoft has a packed month in July. Things kicked off earlier this week with Satya Nadella's open letter to employees, and at the end of the month, Microsoft's Imagine Cup is being held -- which means non-stop Microsoft action.

For starters, next week the company is holding its annual Worldwide Partner Conference in Washington, D.C. where Nadella will be speaking to several thousand third-party companies who sell Microsoft products and services. Following that, the company has its earnings release on July 22nd, and not long after that, the company will be holding //OneWeek on its campus in Redmond.

The company meeting has traditionally been held in September, but under Nadella, everything is up for change, including meeting times.

So what is //OneWeek? At the end of July, Microsoft is holding a series of events that will help get the ground level employees up to speed on the company's initiatives. The week-long event will be filled with engagements that are inspired to reenergize the company and help take Nadella's memo and turn it into an action plan. During the same week, there will also be a company-wide meeting on July 28th.

There are also Hackathons scheduled for July 29th and 30th and a product fair on the 30th and 31st, according to the Seattle Times.

Finally, Microsoft will be holding its Imagine Cup competition at the Redmond office during the end of July, which will bring in a small crowd to the corporate campus.

As you can see, July is a busy month for Microsoft, and even though the first half of the month was a little quiet, these next three weeks are packed full of events.
