what happens if you set paper size in word to the same as envelope?

1. How to do that ?

2. How do I position To and From address on the word properly so that it prints on the envelope properly with alignment distortion .  Can I see a preview of this before printing ?

Go to page layout, then size and select the size you need or set to custom. That will then show the document exactly as the envelope size, then just the address on the area you want it? I can try it tomorrow, as we have HP printers at work.

Might want to give the manual a read. It shares all the details to the question you have...

The manual prefers option 2. You should read it.

I gave you 2 links ...

read all the articles that the links provide that I gave you.  Follow the instructions and you will be fine.

If you don't understand the manual, contact one of your relatives and he/she will help you out.  If it is at work, ask someone who work with you there and he/she will show you how.

Look @ this - it took all of .1 sec

Fire up word, and you can select Mailings from the top level ribbon, then Envelopes

Then click options & it should look something like this (Office 2010)

You can select your custom measurements (converted to inches) since I didnt see a prelisted one that has same measurements

Word will handle everything for you -

The other post shows you how to put the envelope in.

I have tested as per the manual. This is very much frustrating.

Although its printing on the envelope ...but  the addresses are not printing on the proper place ...for example , To address is going to extreme left and some letters are getting cut ...also delivery address is coming in the middle of the envelope........entire thing is a chaos.

Is there any other approach ?

Try playing with the boarders of the envelope.  The delivery/to address is supposed to be in the middle of the envelope.  I think  you have screwed up your document.

What are you using? If in word 2010, click the mailings heading then click envelopes.  Fill in the delivery address and then the return address and presto, you have a envelope that prints properly.   Even tells you how to feed the envelope.
