SoCalRox
My Linux knowledge is quite sketchy, and I'm trying to improve it while learning some new skills. I'm using the OTN virtual machine (VMDK) Oracle has for free download, which is Oracle Linux 6.5 (a version of Red Hat.) In VMWare, I have given the first of the two virtual disks additional space so I can install tools I wish to use. However, I need to use resize2fs to make the partition available to Linux. When I try to resize it in Linux, resize2fs tells me it already is allocated completely, even though it is now. Could someone hand a tip to an old coot newbie and help me make this a bit bigger? (Gads, that sounded suggestive!)
