0 Ambroos
Parted Magic (free version available here): http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/parted_magic.html Put it on a USB stick with Unetbootin or Rufus. Simply boot from it, use the erase program on the desktop and select Secure Erase. It'll detect if the SSD supports enhanced secure erase (which it will) and it's done in a few seconds. I've done this a ton of times with my SSDs and it always works without fail. Parted Magic is an excellent tool for any HDD/SSD troubleshooting. Shame it went paid, but the old freeware version still works perfectly on everything I've tested. goretsky 1 Share
