can i use keyboard and spare mice together with the same receiver?

Hi

i really like logitech products , some microsoft hardware too

 

but i did not find nice combo keyboard + mouse

but i found some cool keyboard withou mice , and some very cool mices without keyboard :(

 

 

can i buy a logitech keyboard and a logitech mice and use only 1 recevier?

rightnow i have a logitech keyboard k260 and Ultrathin Touch Mouse T630

 

i read about Logitech Unifying Receiver, but where should i buy?

 

i can't use my keyboard with mice with only 1 receiver

should i use the software?

every logitech product comes with a unifying receiver (the wireless products anyway :p) you just need to install the logitech set-point software to add devices to a reciever

The K260 uses older tech, and is not "Unifying" compatible.

 

If you are out of spare usb ports, you could just get a small hub and use both.

the K260 may be too old and doesn't support the unifying receiver if set-point doesn't detect it. i don't see that model listed on the logitech website so that may be the case

You understand that the software alone is not enough, right?

 

Your devices would need to come with this size receiver, and have the orange logo.

Every device you want to use, must have that logo. Only then can you use multiple devices with one receiver.
