Bluetooth transmitter/receiver for old speakers and cable alternatives.

So I've  two old 5.1 systems:

Altec lansing 251.

Some logitechs (5.1) I can't remember atm (and at work, not home so can't check)

(Both of them only function as a 2.1, as I used to have a soundcard on my old PC (which is now a backup/fileserver), but my laptop has only one output so...)

I live in a very small apartment, very cramped, my music source usually comes from my laptop, which is in my bedroom with logitechs and the altec lansing ones are in the living room/kitchennette area.

What I want to do is unify both speaker systems the source via the single audio jack connectors, eg. connect some bluetooth receiver to BOTH speakers. My laptop comes with bluetooth 4.0.

This would give me the liberty to move my laptop around and speakers, freely without limited by wire.

Also considered this:

But have no experience with audio cable extensions (as far as degrading sound quality from cable/splitting?), as one of the cables would have to be around 16 feet (5m approx).
