I need something thats good image quality for Skype, and Lync meetings. It has to connect via USB. Cost can be $5-$100 USD. If it has built in Mic I need a way to disable audio if needed.

The Mic you can disable via the respective applications. I have never seen a webcam with an option to disable the Mic.

Our standard Lync webcam.

Can second that cam.

Alternatively, these are not too bad for if you're after something either more portable or a lot cheaper:

My family use these to communicate via Skype between Xubuntu & Windows 7.
