John.D
Format it in windows the unallocated / highlighted disk. Then you can use it. Right mouse on it / format it
Cosmin
Did that but there's no option for formatting the largest part
John.D
Looks like you cant partition / and format a removable disk under disk management. You have to change it to a fixed disk Unless (maybe) you use a 3rd party program, like this Or diskpart first
Xahid
Delete all the partitions, and then create New simple volume !
Ambroos
Open CMD as admin. > diskpart > list disk > select disk x (where x = the number of your USB drive in the list) > clean > exit > exit Then unplug stick and replug it, and you should be able to create a new, fullsize partition from Device Manager. Make sure you select the right disk, as clean just plain wipes out the partition table and MBR/GPT without asking for confirmation.
articuno1au
One of those awesome Windows quirks. If only you could put multiple partitions on a removable USB stick :(
+BudMan MVC Posted August 4, 2014 MVC Share Posted August 4, 2014 Curious how you got your usb stick to be like that in the first place? What did you use to format it so you could run memtest? What is installed on it. As to having more than 1 partition on a stick - here http://www.rmprepusb.com/tutorials/multipartufd You can have windows see whatever of the 4 partitions you want it to see. Cosmin
By creating a boot image on stick from memtest settings.. diskpart did the job!

+BudMan MVC Posted August 4, 2014 MVC Share Posted August 4, 2014 "diskpart did the job!" What memtest - something that came from your maker of your PC/Laptop - or something you downloaded? Other option would be to highlight that current partition of 99mb and expand it - might have to use 3rd party tools.
John.D
memtest tests the memory. You can download an iso of it for a cd or flash drive
