Once my FireTV and Drobo 5N show up, I'll get to try out my new setup. ajua Posted August 4, 2014 Share Posted August 4, 2014 I use XBMC and Trakt is an awesome service for keeping taps on everything from movies to tv shows. On Android I use SeriesGuide to check in, rate and add media to my watch list. It works for movies just as well despite of the name. Superb app. Media Center with the plugin MediaBrowser worked great a long time but I replaced them with XBMC (now Kodi). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm currently running the Neon skin for it, using Showcase mode to display my library. Love it, love it, love it. I customized each and every one of my NFO files, so everything is sorted to my personal preference. I have certain movies put together in "sets" or "collections" that make more sense to me. For example, by default XBMC (now Kodi) puts Lord of the Rings into one set, and The Hobbit into a different set. I made it all one long series. But again, the reason I use The Media Center Formerly Known As XBMC is because it just looks better. I'll have to make a video showing off my setup when I get back home next week.
