No, just sunburn, whilst inside the tent, with a t-shirt on. Sunburn so bad my arms and chest are covered in hundreds of little blisters and I had to go to the emergency room... :S

You knew exactly what you were implying.

yes i do, but it seems that some didn't.

It has NOTHING to do with skin colour and everything to do with culture. It's offensive that your first thought is to bring race into the discussion.

cool, glad it doesn't. I was commenting on the video provided... as with everything, people over react. everything seems to be fight fight fight.... relax, breathe, think, and live.

I'm happy these stupid fads are getting deadlier, we had some deaths with Neknominate. This still cleanse the gene pool a bit.

Don't worry I had the same question, it was due to the fact that's all the video showed. But some people think the second you ask a question like that you're a racist big got. Even though it was a legitimate question.

I'm just disappointed that every single moron that tries this isn't killed doing so. That would very quickly eliminate them from the gene pool.

You should really consider supplementing your diet with at least 12mg of Astaxanthin (possibly more)

It is an antioxidant that get through your skin and prevents inflammation (bad burn is not just sun damage - it is mostly over reaction by immune system and inflammation)

Everyone in my family does not get serious burns, and the worst I had is massive redness that goes away by noon next day! No blisters and barely any peeling later! Even after large sun exposure in high attitudes.

Takes at least 2 weeks of everyday usage to start seen results, as it needs to build up in your system!   However it is great for many other things too!

this is what i take: BioAstin-Hawaiian-Astaxanthin-Gel-Caps 12mg - available at amazon.

Thanks, but I'm not a fan of supplements.  I prefer lots of fresh veggies and fruits etc. ;)

Well, figures.    However, this particular antioxidant is just not available in fruits and veg.

If is what makes pink flamingoes pink and is only really available from microalgee and krill (both of which you are surely not eating)

Only other way to get it is to eat WILD salmon in large quantities...  which is very hard, and very expensive to do.     Farmed salmon is colored pink and does not get it's color from this nutrient.

Anyway I thought it was a good thing to mention, since you said you  get burn so easily, and this is one of the few things that builds a bit of internal protection.

Anyway.... back to topic.     This kids deserve the burns :)   I was doing a lot of stupid stuff in college when drunk.

Setting myself on FIRE was out of the question, challenge or not. Silly stuff becomes plain retarded when FIRE is involved!

Actually, this is the first time I've ever burned like this... Normally I just go brown without any burning... go figure.  I do appreciate the suggestion though.. Thanks. :)

Closest I ever came to doing something this stupid was, in my college years, setting fire to farts when drunk, and suffered some blowback.

Owie! :O

Hahaha.   You should only do it in jeans or at least cotton pants.  I have seen some idiot do it in nylon sport pants, and the pants set on fire. idiot..

My worst was to go roll in the snow after the Hottub, in the backyard of a student house (where there were loads of broken bottles)

Me and my drunk friend did it unharmed for almost 5 minutes, then we challenged a new arrival to do it, and even though he only did it for 30 seconds...

the guy almost bled out in hottub

(turning the water dark)

Luckily some girls noticed the water was off, and we took him out of hot water and gave him lots of hydration to recover,

otherwise he would have passed out right there from MASSIVE bloodloss, as hot water increases the blood flow and numbs the pain.

After that, I do not accept ANY challenge when drunk, unless I know exactly all the risks and find them acceptable  (so, basically, never!)

This is one of the problems i have with children using social media. they dont understand that sometimes when people post a video of something crazy that the video is fake or done under very controlled conditions preventing problem. and for a lot of them to feel good about themselves they needs views, or likes, or hits.

it is disproportionately PoC. you can give the run around about poverty but it doesn't change the fact. this is what they are doing now that the knock-out game has gotten old.

Lighting alcohol on bare skin is not going to much, except perhaps singe your hair if you are not careful.

I just hope nobody is stupid enough to try it while wearing a t-shirt made of synthetic fibers.....

Why is race even being brought into this? A few videos online is not a true estimate of which group of people is doing this the most.

okay. let's say for arguments sake that whites are doing this overwhelmingly more often that PoC... Whites still aren't dumb enough to advertise their stupidity all over the internet half as often as PoC.

Some people seem to be so utterly ignorant of how dangerous and stupid is what they are doing.

There have been four reported deaths so far this summer in Spain of people trying to jump to a swimming pool from a balcony. What could possibly go wrong, right?
