serves Russia right, If they think they can get away with shooting down an innocent commercial aircraft, they have another thing coming!

Users in Russia are reporting that attempts to install Java are being redirected to a page which says that installation is forbidden under a legal embargo.

If only they would "ban" installation of the ask toolbar in other countries :)

Not saying that it's good or bad but that's the nature of embargos, BIS says software falls under that too (especially if crypto is involved). Oracle isn't the only one who has to comply with it either.

well said. with all that hate, united states are confronted all arround the world despite their enldess efforts to improve, democratize and pacify countries, and terror groups and undemocratic countries having that cynism to still use internet, twitter, facebook and other things to their own advantage and agenda, id say this should be only the first step.

lets see how "powerful" hamas, russia, and others are when the internet is finally shot down for them. and no coca cola anymore for the broad masses. let putin give em caviar instead. :)
