Teenager makes home in Walmart for 4 days

CORSICANA, TX ? Wearing diapers instead of using the restroom, changing in and out of clothing every few hours and cracking a back wall to get juice were some of the tactics a 14-year-old boy used to camp out in a Walmart for four days.

KTVT reports that employees eventually found the teen after discovering a trail of trash leading to one of his two ?secret hidden compounds.?

One of his hiding places was in a baby products aisle behind stroller boxes, the other was behind stacks of toilet paper and paper towels. He made a makeshift bed, took in a pet fish and survived by eating food from the store.

The teenager lives with relatives, but was visiting other relatives at the time of impromptu Walmart camping trip. People said he tried to run out of the store when he was discovered, but was eventually captured and placed in the custody of relatives.

KTVT reports that Child Protective Services were not called to investigate the case and at present there?s nothing to indicate Walmart will press charges.

Probably. I haven't seen a Walmart that wasn't a supercenter in a long time.

 

Nothing wrong with Walmart food. It's the same stuff you'll find in any grocery store.

Since you all aint getting it, "poor" + missing kid = one less mouth to feed, it's happened before, not that I'm saying that is what happened, but is possible, OR the kid has a habit of disappearing randomly and they just stopped freaking out about it

The abuse that I went thru at the hands of my aunt certainly made me 'hide out' at times.

You parents were smart... I would certainly did the same thing if my kid became another "HUM".
