Where do you buy your digital music?

I have been out of the music buying scene for a long time, and recently I've been thinking about buying a few albums. Now a days, I just turn Pandora or Grooveshark on and let it go, but now I'd like to actually buy (own) some. The problem is I'm not sure which service is the best to use. Does anyone actually buy music anymore, and if so, from where?

 

Ideally, I'd like to get DRM free FLAC flies, but I have a feeling that is a long shot. (what's the minimum bit rate that you consider worth paying for?) I'd really like not to have to sign up for a subscription service, but I'll consider it if the service is a good value and it lets me actually keep the albums after the subscription has lapsed.

 

Any ideas?
