Using a game controller for games on iPhone (or even android tab).

I would prefer to do this on the iPhone (4S running iOS7, jailbroken), but my wife also has a Galaxy Tab 10.1 if this is any more useful.

 

Anyway, a shooter game in particular. I believe you can use a controller to play the games so it's not touchscreen. This would make it much easier. How do you do this?

I personally bought a PS3 controller and it works GREAT with iOS. You need to be jailbroken and run Controllers for All
