He is a little late to the party on this topic. It has already flared up (with widespread internet reaction), reached a peak, and then fell off after everyone realized it was a timed exclusive. Don't get me wrong, its still a topic floating around, but it has changed drastically from that first day of the announcement.

Plus, this is not a new issue. Its very very old. Since the onset of the new console market with the nes and sega master system, exclusives have become more and more important. I'm not sure when the practice of going out and buying exclusive deals started, but I know it was around as far back as the dreamcast/ps2 era.

So many people seem to be taking up this topic as if its brand new, when the better discussion is to focus on the root of exclusive content. Why would MS, Sony, or Nintendo pursue exclusive content and what incentive is there for them to stop doing that?

You could create a long line of videos on this topic if your going to go through it game by game.

The main reason I post Jim's videos is to see if Andy approves or not :P

you think they would have learned back in the days of Nintendo and Sega that Exclusives are always bad for the consumer.
