DoNuTjC
Hey people, I just downloaded the new drivers for Nvidia GeForce2 GTS card but when it installs it comes up with a message: The software you are installing for this hardware: NVIDIA GeForce2 GTS/GeForce2 Pro has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP. Then there a bunch of other crap... Any Ideas? I'm running Windows XP Home So it should work... Thanks
Steven P. Administrators Posted January 26, 2002 Administrators Share Posted January 26, 2002 It just means that these drivers were not signed or verified by Microsoft. You can install them but know that these are not supported by Microsoft. I use unsigned Detonators on the same GeForce 2 GTS ;) mine are 27.10 and works fine. If you don't trust these stick with the verified nVidia release The message comes up when Microsoft have not yet tested these to be completely ok with XP, thats it! mortensen
That message even puts me off and I update drivers often. LOL.
nomis_nehc
You can turn off the digital signature warning if you want. Simplay go into system properties, hardware tab, driver signing, choose ignore and make action default. Be warned, you will "never" get that message again.
