This is the story of welfare cat

 

 

 

My parents have 2 stray cats. Mud Pie and Welfare cat, welfare cat is a  daughter of Mud Pie.

 

Both Cats get welfare in the form of daily food and water. But there are 2 major difference between the 2 cats.

 

Mud Pie has children but goes out and hunts for food,, birds, mice, rabbits and other creatures it wants to eat or bring to feed her children. Sometimes she will bring them up to the house as a show of affection. She earns her keep.

 

Welfare cat on the other hand has children too, but just lays around the deck all day and sleeps. She doesn't hunt for food or provide for her children, she just lays around expected to be fed and watered. She's a worthless cat,

 

Just yesterday her mother mud pie came up with a dead ground squirrel and gave it to welfare cat. Mud pie also takes welfare cat's children out and teaches them how to hunt.  In fact when you approach welfare cat she runs away from you.
