Apple's iWatch will reportedly make its debut on September 9th

While the news has been scarce for the rumored iWatch, we now have a solid source saying that the iWatch will reportedly make its debut alongside the iPhone 6 at an event in September.

According to Re/code, Apple's first wearable device will make its grand debut at a yet-to-be announced event on September 9th. The iWatch has been shrouded in secrecy with only a few clues leaking to the general public. It is highly likely that the wearable will work in conjunction with Apple's Healthkit and Homekit, two features that were unveiled for iOS8 at WWDC in June

Although there isn't a hint of what the device will look like, there has been speculation that there could be two models. Earlier reports suggest that iWatch could be produced in a standard and athletic model with reports that Apple is tapping professional athletes like Kobe Bryant, to test the highly secretive device.

If the speculated release date is true, this could be one the best kept secrets Apple has had in years.
