Nintendo announces five new Fall hardware bundles

Nintendo announced five new hardware bundles for this Fall season this morning.

The Super Mario 3D World Deluxe Set launches in mid-September. For $299 you'll get the Wii U Deluxe Set, Super Mario 3D World, and Nintendo Land. Walmart has an exclusive Mario Kart 8 Deluxe set that swaps out Super Mario 3D World for Nintendo's newest racer, and it's also priced at $299, set to release in the middle of next month..

New 2DS bundles hit in early October. There are three: Electric Blue, Crimson Red or Sea Green. Each come with a digital version of Mario Kart 7, priced at $129.99.

But all you're thinking about is that New 3DS, right? Me too.

I wonder if they would be better off doing what they did for the Dreamcast in releasing hardware at margin prices. Bu then, Nintendo doesn't exactly have the software to support that decision, wheas the Dreamcast was absolutely loaded with great games all over the shop (sans EA).
