Excuse my ignorance, but I can't seem to find anything online that answers this...

Are there any hosting providers who offer Office 365 service?* *That you can recommend...

I'm currently on Rackspace who offer Exchange + Sharepoint, which is nice, but I'd like to use MS' iOS office apps a la Office 365.

I'd rather not host it with MS directly.

I don't think so as I believe Office 365 is considered a Live service.

Office 365 is pretty reliable in my experience, it's Microsoft's product so they host it in their datacenters.

What's your reasoning behind not wanting to host with Microsoft? I've got clients with Rackspace's Hosted Exchange and I can confidently say that Office 365/Exchange Online offers more features.

Office 365 is a Microsoft product so you won't find it anywhere else.

Other companies do hosted Exchange which is not the same as Office 365 even if they have all the same products.

If you have access to a Sharepoint server then you can use that to host and access your files for the Office Tablet apps (as oppose to OneDrive). That being said, you will still need an Office 365 sub to access all the mobile/tablet Office features.
