+E.Worm Jimmy Subscriber¹ Posted September 2, 2014 Subscriber¹ Share Posted September 2, 2014 not bad, so all the leaks were correct. i really don't like the protruding camera, but, i guess it is better then having the phone thinker. my only concern - the glass goes all the way to an edge. so even drops to the side, now risk damaging the display. Yeah i noticed that too, it's raised above the enclosure, i'll have mine in a case so it's no biggy but for those that don't this thing is guaranteed to chip (no idea how strong the glass is?) Some glass companies have the stronger glass for the phones/tablets... such as gorilla glass series for HTC, Samsung, etc... Not sure what brand for iphone/iPad devices. TAZMINATOR
They use their own version of "gorilla glass" just to avoid paying out royalties I guess? None of Apple devices are used with Gorilla Glass which you can see a list of the devices listed that are used with Gorilla Glass here: http://www.corninggorillaglass.com/products-with-gorilla/full-product-list iPhone glass: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/11/iphone-6-glass_n_5577765.html

Now the iphone 6, we shall see.. Apple was using Gorilla glass since the iPhone 4s. However, they have never officially confirmed this and are thus not on the official user list. Same as above. JonnyLH
It looks like an larger iPhone? I don't like the protruding camera as it'd get scratched as hell with me and I love damaging phones. To pull me back into iOS and Apple they really need to re-imagine the OS rather than applying a winter board theme.

Well it's not going to look like a Nokia Lumia is it.. it's an iteration on their existing design, apart from the fact that it's a phone, designed by Apple, it's quite a bit different than the current phone. Yes, in fact before anyone says it looks like an existing phone out there... Apple has used this design already, take a look at the current iPods, almost identical design, and also look at the iPhone 3 series, very similar
