Logitech Solar Wireless Keyboard - Freaking Out

Recommended Posts

So I have two of they keyboards. I was using them just fine, I just poured water onto one (by mistake) and it freaked out.

Keys not working at all, one key making two characters, weird characters etc

So I thought, ok the water is still causing a problem. So I switched to my second one, and even switched the USB plug thing they give, and this one that had no water at all, is doing the same thing.

Anyone have any idea how that is possible?

I am now using an old USB wired keyboard but do not want too. So wondering if anyone has used these or any Logitech wireless before and may know whats causing it.

I thought it may be in Windows so I rebooted, same problem. I am going to give it awhle, unpluged and turned off, but not sure since my second one had no water on it.

have you tried them in any other computer to see if they do the same? sounds like a weird config may have been toggled on your computer by the short on the first one

I let them be un-plugged for awhile, used the wired keyboard for a day or so.

Plugged in the one that got wet, 100% dead. Now that could be the battery, I have seen it do that before, so its possible it will work again.

Plugged in the second one, working fine now.

So, yea seemed like it was a weird windows Config thing that got confused.
