adsp
Hello everyone! I am not a computer expert, so please bear with me on this. I've been using this build, which is equipped with a Crucial SSD and Windows 8.1, for about a month now. When I try logging into a standard account, my system's speed is on full display, logging in in barely 2 seconds. But on an account with admin privileges, logging in lags on the post-password welcome screen for 25+ seconds. This is the only variable that causes the problem; local vs. Microsoft linked account, or startup processes enabled vs. disabled are not causing it. I've read that removing Gigabyte bloatware fixes the problem, and while I do have a Gigabyte MB, removing its software did not fix this problem for me. Does anyone have any clues or leads as to what's causing this?
adsp
I had tested this for nearly two days, and still somehow misidentified the variable. After more testing, I believe the problem now to be related to the use of PIN login after a full boot. This was helpful.
