Constantly Missing Emails

Am I the only one who finds it way too easy to miss emails? I've got everything automated filtered, which does occasionally catch my fellow tech's emails. Even have tech emails marked as high priority, but they still occasionally get missed. Am I the only one who seems to have this problem. Just too much to keep up with!
