I purchased "just for men" dark brown and applied this noon. it works pretty good... at 38 years old, I have many gray hairs everywhere, mainly on the sides. Now I look 15 years younger... lol

Nice. Welcome to the club!

I've been totally gray since I was 20. I started out with the Just For Men, but it didn't last long enough for me, and the color range is limited. So I use hair color that's marketed for women. It takes a little longer but also lasts much longer. And I can experiment with colors if I want. I usually stick with reddish-brown, though, which isn't that different from my original dark brown.

If you're willing put in a little more time, and don't care if people think its strange that you're buying women's hair dye, give Preference or Feria a try. The results are much better than the mens' stuff, which is designed for ease of use more than quality results.

Interesting, thanks for sharing your knowledge in this... it is my first time doing this and I will take in consideration your info.

Cool. Your results do look good. Maybe they've improved the formula for Just For Men. Now if they'd offer more than light brown, dark brown and black . . .

One more tip - apply it a little longer to your temples than the rest of your hair. That area tends to resist the dye for some reason. Unless you like the Reed Richards look, which I've actually considered trying. Maybe in a few years . . .

Preaching to the choir dude. I went grey at 14 (just one streak) and it's been advancing ever since.

The saving grace is i'm 35 with a lovely full head of thick hair, swings and roundabouts my friend :p

Same here. I'd much rather go gray like I did than go bald.

Having been gray almost totally since I was 18, I do the same as you. It really does get better results.

I'm getting a few greys but I try to shave my head every other week.  Solves that problem.  Luckily I'm not losing hair.  My bro is 2 years younger is balding halfway up his head.

All you people with your grey hair problems. Spare a thought for those of us that are beginning to sport the George Constanza look pre-30.
