Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Since those images do not have an alpha channel, wouldn't all of them have to be duplicated just for the dark theme doubling the space required to store it on their servers? Unless they used someone else to store the images, but for me I can tolerate looking at images with white backgrounds. Besides, do a lot of people actually visit the software section? Administrators Posted October 19, 2014 Administrators Share Posted October 19, 2014 Razvan has already been forced to work with tougher logos for the software main page, because generally speaking software logos are hard to make into a tile in the first place. I doubt he'll want to replace them all to have a transparent background, and in some cases these do not carry over (properly) to social media/feeds that use our RSS because images with layers are optimized even further in that case.
