Windows 10 TP 9860 - Window snapping

Recommended Posts

Hello, it seems that the window snapping that was available in the previous preview version doesn't work anymore. Did I miss something? Is it just me who's noticing this or are there others who get the same?

In the previous version it was possible to snap 4 windows on one screen, now I only seem to be able to get 2 windows side by side.

I'm using a multi-monitor setup.

Thanks

Same thing happened to me, but a restart fixed that. Also windows now will "unsnap" when you pull them out just like in Windows 7 and 8.

Thanks, seems that the snap UI is the same as in Windows 8 with this problem...

Microsoft noted that some features have gone backwards because a more finalized version will be in one of the next features, appearently, Aero Snap and titlebars (for Universal Apps) are those features.

Snapping just doesn't work consistently for me.

Sometimes it works for some windows. Sometimes it doesn't work for any windows.

It works with the mouse, but the keyboard shortcuts win+left, win+right barely ever work. I cannot always use the mouse because I have two monitors (plus keyboard is faster).
