I finally installed iOS 8.1 on my iPad Mini. And I remember seeing a feature in the news where you can modify the control center.

I couldn't find those settings today, or was that feature removed from the final version?

There is a jailbreak tweak that allows that but nothing in default iOS for control center. Only Notification Center
